Rodrigo Taddei has finally joined Roma - a year after he was initially due to arrive in the Eternal City.
The Brazilian playmaker agreed a five-year contract with the Giallorossi that will run until June, 2010.
Last summer, the player was very close to leaving Siena for Roma but, just when the transfer appeared to be on the verge of completion, the Tuscan side's president Paolo De Luca decided to break off the negotiations.
As Taddei is now a free agent, the path to Stadio Olimpico has obviously been easier, and he will reportedly earn é¼1.75 million in the first season followed by é¼2.23 million over the next four campaigns.
Internazionale were also monitoring developments but will now have to focus their sights elsewhere.
