Roma seal Nonda deal

Roma have completed the signing of Shabani Nonda.

The DR Congo international has penned a three-year deal at Estadio Olimpico after seeing out his contract at Monaco.

Nonda has been looking for a new challenge after failing to hold down a regular place in the Monaco side last season.

The former Rennes man had been linked with moves to Juventus and Rangers, but Roma have won the race for his signature.

Nonda was delighted to be making the move to the Italian capital.

"I am happy to join Roma, a great club, an important side with players of international level," Nonda told the club's official website.

"A particular thanks to the Sensi family and the leaders of Roma who believe in my potential and have given me more motivation to come to Roma."
