Asier Del Horno's agent claims his client's move to Chelsea will be completed in the near future.Agent Jokin Barcena dismissed claims that the Athletic Bilbao player's switch to Stamford Bridge would be shelved because of Chelsea's reported interest in Milan's Georgian left back Kakha Kaladze.
Blues boss Jose Mourinho is keen to find cover at left back for the injured Wayne Bridge and Barcena has now stated a deal for the 24-year-old will be completed this summer.
"Asier's transfer will be done without a shred of a doubt," Barcena told Spanish sports daily Marca.
"The English club have told me that there's no danger that it will not be done.
"This (delay) has nothing to do with the possible signing of another left back player.
"Chelsea have always been clear that they want him and it could be that they could sign more than one left back because the one they currently have, (William) Gallas, is not in (Jose) Mourinho's plans for next season and they want to let him go."
