Pizarro holds Inter dream

Udinese striker David Pizarro says that he wants to leave the club in the near future.

Udinese striker David Pizarro says that he wants to leave the club in the near future.

Pizarro helped fire his side into the UEFA Champions League with a surprising Serie A campaign last term, but that has not stopped talk of him leaving.

His name has been linked with a collection of big clubs in Italy and the rest of Europe.

Although Pizarro may still remain to lead Udinese into the Champions League next season, he hopes he will be allowed to leave soon, with Internazionale his preferred destination.

"I hope Udinese could award me the chance to leave before the end of my contract in 2007," Pizarro told Chilean paper Ultimas Noticias.

"I'm 25-years-old and probably this will be my last opportunity to earn a good contract and play for a top side.

"Should I be able to choose, I'd go to Inter."
