Real consider Cris move

Rumours emanating from the French press continue to link Real Madrid with Cris.

The Lyon central defender has impressed during his debut campaign for the French champions - playing an instrumental role in the club's fourth consecutive title.

Despite being content in France, Cris has strong ties with Real coach Wanderley Luxemburgo having played under the Brazilian tactician at Cruzeiro.

Cris is under contract at Lyon until 2008 but it remains to be seen whether Real will make an approach for the talented 28-year-old in the summer.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that Lyon are ready to end their pursuit of Liverpool striker Milan Baros.

New chief Gerard Houllier is keen to be reunited with the Czech Republic hit-man but has been given little encouragement that Baros is willing to move to Stade Gerland.
