Per Kroldrup says he is excited about the prospect of playing for Everton.
Danish defender Per Kroldrup has admitted he is excited about the prospect of playing for Everton in The Premiership.The 25-year-old penned a four-year contract after negotiating his way through a medical on Monday and is looking forward to pitting his wits against some of The Premiership's top stars.
"I always thought English football was interesting," he told Sky Sports News. "It is very entertaining to watch and there are a lot of big stars playing here so it is a big challenge for me.
"The crowds are very special and I am looking forward to it.
"The club has a lot of ambition and wants to do well in the future."
Kroldrup swapped Udinese's UEFA Champions League quest for a similar scenario with Everton and he is relishing the prospect of tackling European opposition.
"I am excited," he added. "I have never played in the Champions League.
"We are not seeded so we need a little luck in getting the right team, as there are some good sides in the draw."
