Feyenoord have dismissed the prospect of Salomon Kalou moving to PSV.
Feyenoord have dismissed the prospect of star forward Salomon Kalou being sold to Eredivisie champions PSV Eindhoven.PSV boss Guus Hiddink is not prepared to rest on his laurels and has set his sights on a number of players in a bid to keep the club on their upward curve.
Kalou has caught Hiddink's eye and reports are suggesting an offer has been put to the Feyenoord board.
Feyenoord say they have no plans to sell the forward, with the club keen to reward him for his efforts last term with a bumper new deal.
"There is no way we will sell Kalou to one of our rivals," Feyenoord technical director Mark Wotte told the club's website. "What we want is to extend the contract of Kalou. We have been talking for more than half a year.
"There is a fantastic new deal for Kalou, which shows we really want to keep him."
Kalou is keen to play for the Netherlands and Feyenoord are working on his behalf to secure him a Dutch passport.
"We have been trying for a year to get Dutch nationality for him," added Wotte. "All sides know that."
