Keith Gillespie is on trial with Leeds United in a bid to win a deal with the Championship club.

The 32-year-old, who has 57 Northern Ireland caps to his name, is available for transfer after being released by Leicester City.

Leeds have already bagged one right winger this week following the capture of Steve Stone, but manager Kevin Blackwell may opt to add cover for the former Portsmouth man.

Meanwhile, the club are no nearer to completing a deal for ex-Fulham midfielder Lee Clark.

The Whites have been chasing the experienced schemer for the past few weeks, but are still some way from agreeing terms.

Clark's sports agency Proactive have stated the 32-year-old has made no wage demands to the Elland Road club.

"No deal has been agreed with Leeds United and there has been no demand on any level of wages," read a statement.

"Leeds United are one of a number of other clubs interested in signing Lee Clark and we are in the process of having discussions with them."
