Sevilla bag Brazilian

Sevilla have revealed that they have agreed a deal with Porto for Luis Fabiano.

Sevilla president Jose Maria del Nido says that they will sign the Brazilian striker on a five-year deal.

"We have signed the document with the Portuguese side and the player will be in Sevilla for the next five seasons," said del Nido.

The striker is still in Portugal but is expected to travel to Spain to be presented by Sevilla on Friday.

Sevilla are believed to have bought 35 percent of the player's rights, and have an option to buy the rest from a private company in two years.

Del Nido also confirmed that Bordeaux midfielder Camel Meriem could be a transfer target for Sevilla.

"He is an option for us."
