Viola land Pancaro

Fiorentina have pipped Messina to the capture of Giuseppe Pancaro.

Messina agreed a deal with the Rossoneri for the 33-year-old's signature, but the Stadio Giovanni Celeste outfit have missed out on his signature.

Within hours of Pancaro securing his release from Milan he signed a one-year contract with Fiorentina.

Meanwhile, Viola have confirmed keeper Cristiano Lupatelli's loan to Parma following Sebastian Frey's arrival.

Lupatelli has joined Parma on a year-long loan with the view securing a permanent deal should he impress during his time at Stadio Ennio Tardini.
