Bicik set for Hearts move
Sparta Prague goalkeeper David Bicik could be set to join SPL side Hearts.
Sparta Prague goalkeeper David Bicik could be become the latest Czech player to join Scottish Premier League side Hearts.Tynecastle boss George Burley has already taken Czech midfielder Rudolf Skacel on a season-long loan from Marseille and the former Ipswich Town and Derby County boss looks set to speak with custodian Bicik.
The former Czech Republic Under-21 international has been in the shadows of Sparta number one Jaromir Blazek, having made just 16 appearances in the club's first team.
The 24-year-old did not travel with the Sparta squad to Switzerland for their pre-season preparations, further suggesting a move to Edinburgh may be on the cards.
"It is possible that he will fly on Monday to sign the contract," said Bicik's agent Pavel Zika.
Two of Zika's other clients in Mlada Boleslav striker Roman Bednar and Slovan Liberec hit-man Michal Pospisil may also be on the verge of a move to The Jambos.
Bednar is thought to be close to long-term deal with Hearts while Pospisil remains another target for Burley, with the new SPL season beginning in just over a week.
