Celtic trial Chinese ace
Celtic have followed the signing of Shunsuke Nakamura by giving Du Wei a trial.
Celtic chief executive Peter Lawwell has revealed that Chinese skipper Du wei has been granted a trial by the club.
Du wei will arrive at Celtic Park next week, as Celtic look to bolster a defence that conceded five goals against Slovakian minnows Artmedia Bratislava.
Celtic boss Gordon Strachan will take a look at the 23-year-old defender, before deciding whether to make Du wei his eighth summer signing.
Lawwell confirmed: "He'll (Du wei) be here on Sunday night and will be training with us for the week just to see how things are."
Du wei would be Celtic's second signing from the Far East in quick succession, after the capture of Shunsuke Nakamura.
