RBC close on defender

RBC Roosendaal are being tipped to sign Virgilio Texeira from RKC Waalwijk.

The 31-year-old has been made available for transfer and reports are suggesting terms are on the cusp of being agreed with RBC.

Texeira has given seven years' sterling service to RKC, having joined the club from ADO Den Haag, but his efforts last term were hindered by a muscle injury.

RBC are in need of defensive reinforcements, having lost Tyrone Loran and Jose Fortes Rodriguez to injuries, and Texeira would add real experience to Dolf Roks' squad.
