Rangers loan Santala

Rangers have agreed to loan defender Jukka Santala to Partick Thistle.

Rangers have agreed to loan defender Jukka Santala to Partick Thistle until the end of December.

However the 20-year-old Finn will only move to the Firhill Stadium if the loan agreement is approved by his agent.

Thistle chairman Brown McMaster confirmed: "His agent in Holland wished to see the SFA loan agreement form and this has now been faxed to him.

"He has advised us that he requires 24 hours to analyse the agreement and then Jukka is expected at Firhill on Thursday morning to sign with the club."

The Jags are also keen on re-signing former Dundee United man James Grady.

McMaster added: "The club have been in talks with both his agent and the player but he is unlikely to make a decision before Thursday."

Partick may still face competition for the 34-year-old's signature with St Mirren, St Johnstone and Gretna all thought to be keen on Grady.
