Kleberson agrees move

Besiktas are confident of wrapping up the capture of Manchester United midfielder Kleberson this week. The Turks have been striving to secure the services of the midfielder for much of the summer, but their bid appeared to flounder earlier in the month when The Red Devils rejected an offer for the Brazilian.
However, an improved offer seems to have persuaded the Old Trafford club to part company with the World Cup winner and Besiktas appear confident of persuading Kleberson to make the move to Turkey, having won over the player's wife.
"We convinced his wife and have almost completed the transfer," said Besiktas president Yildirim Demiroren.
The Samba star is looking forward to linking up with his new team-mates, having travelled to Istanbul to agree terms and undergo a medical.
"I'm very happy to be here," said Kleberson. "I had no problem accepting the offer but my wife had to be persuaded.
"She agreed to come to Istanbul and take a look last week and, after that, she was convinced."
Kleberson arrived at Old Trafford from Atletico Paranaense in the summer of 2003 but failed to claim a regular starting berth and now appears ready to head for pastures new after initially favouring a transfer to Celta Vigo.
The South American was greeted by hundreds of fans at the airport who carried him on their shoulders.
The fee is expected to be in the region of é¼2.6 million (£1.8 million) and, after the routine medical, the World Cup winner is to officially sign for his new club on Monday.
