Gulls land Cameroon man

Torquay United have boosted their attack with the signing of Carl Priso-Yaya.

Torquay United have boosted their attack with the signing of Cameroon-born Carl Priso-Yaya.

The 26-year-old arrives at Plainmoor this week after Gulls chairman Mike Bateson worked through the weekend to bring the hit-man to the South Devon club.

Priso-Yaya has signed a one-year deal with The Gulls and arrives at the League Two club after a spell in Germany.

The former Red Star Paris marksman had recently been plying his trade in Germany's Regionalliga Nord with Chemnitzer FC.

The news of Priso-Yaya's arrival comes as fellow striker Mamadou Sow was given international clearance to begin his Torquay career late last week.
