Port Vale boss Martin Foyle has taken the midfield duo of Courtney Pitt and Brent Rahim on trial.Both players appeared for the League One club's reserves in their 2-1 win over their counterparts from Crewe Alexandra this week.
Pitt (pictured) finished last season with League Two club Boston United after previous spells with Portsmouth and Oxford United.
The former Chelsea trainee has already had trials with Rotherham United and Colchester United this summer before opting to his luck with The Valiants.
Trinidad & Tobago international Rahim joins the Potteries outfit after loan spells with West Ham United and Northampton Town when he was under contract with Bulgarian club Levski Sofia back in the 2002/03 season.
The 27-year-old spent the last two seasons in Scotland with Falkirk but was not kept on after The Bairns earned promotion to the Scottish Premier League.
