Kissi ties up Dutch deal

Heerenveen have unveiled Morocco ace Abdelkarim Kissi as their latest signing.

The Dutch outfit have been working on a deal for the defender since Kissi impressed while on trial during pre-season.

Kissi has been playing his football in Bulgaria with Litex Lovech, who he only joined in January from Rubin Kazan.

Before the stopper could secure his move to Holland, he had to reach an accord with Lovech to dissolve his contract.

He managed to sweet-talk Lovech into letting him leave and he has now wrapped up his move to the Abe Lenstra Stadium.

Kissi has signed a two-year contract with Heerenveen, with the option of a further two years if he impresses in De Eredivisie.
