Parma bag Delvecchio

Parma have signed former Roma and Brescia striker Marco Delvecchio.

The 32-year-old finished the season with Brescia, but injury restricted his appearances as they were relegated.

Parma are hoping the experienced striker will prove a point to the critics and banish the memory of a disappointing 2004/05 season.

Delvecchio is the second forward to join Parma recently following the capture of Bernardo Corradi on loan from Valencia.

The details of Delvecchio's deal remains unclear although he is believed to have penned a one-year deal.
