Roda issue Kone warning

Roda have warned PSV that they have until Wednesday to seal a deal for Arouna Kone.

Talented forward Kone is one of Roda's most saleable assets, having attracted attention from Benfica and PSV this summer.

PSV have confirmed their interest in the forward, but have yet to table a firm offer.

Roda do not want the situation to drag on, as happened with Ajax last summer, and have insisted the player will remain in Kerkrade if a deal is not struck by Wednesday.

"If there is no agreement reached between both parties on Wednesday, then the deal is 100 percent certain not to go through," said Roda technical director Nol Hendriks.

Roda fear that if the situation drags on into next week, they will not have enough time to bring in a replacement for the striker.
