Argentine striker Diego Milito is to join brother Gabriel at Primera outfit Real Zaragoza.

The Spaniards have concurred on a two-year loan deal with Italian side Genoa that will see the prolific hit-man take his talents to Spain.

Genoa did not want to sell Milito, 26, but their relegation to Serie C1 after a bribery scandal forced their hand.

The striker has a fine record in Italy having netted 33 goals in 59 games since joining Genoa from Racing Club in January 2004.

He will now link up with his brother Gabriel, 24, who - after being linked with a move to Liverpool earlier in the summer - recently signed a five-year contract extension at La Romareda.

Zaragoza have been looking to bolster their strike-force having sold last season's top-scorer David Villa to Valencia for £8 million.

The Aragon-based side have an option to make Milito's move permanent at the end of the two-year loan, and the player will battle Ewerthon and Sergio Garcia for a first-team berth.

Zaragoza will officially present the player at a press conference on Wednesday afternoon.
