Dadi enters the Forest

Nottingham Forest have signed striker Eugene Dadi from Tranmere Rovers.

Nottingham Forest have signed striker Eugene Dadi on a free transfer from League One rivals Tranmere Rovers.

The 32-year-old joins Gary Megson's side on a deal until the end of the season after falling down the pecking order at Prenton Park.

The emergence of youngster Steve Davies, the arrival of Chris Greenacre and the eligibility of Calvin Zola Makongo has seen the Frenchman fail to make a start for Brian Little's side this season.

Dadi recently had a trial in Norway with Aalesunds FK but the goalscorer has opted to stay in England by joining the East Midlands club.

"I've joined a huge club and want to achieve with Forest what I didn't achieve last season," Dadi told the club's official website.

"I've no doubts I can do something good with my new team-mates and help Forest get back into The Championship."

The former Toulouse, Aberdeen and Livingston player's deal means he will not be eligible to play Tranmere this season.
