Paris Saint Germain's two summer signings from Uruguay have been suspended by Fifa.Carlos Bueno and Cristian Rodriguez joined PSG prior to the close of the transfer window but Penarol never accepted the bids they received.
Whilst investigating the dispute, two weeks ago, Fifa granted PSG temporary permission to play the pair.
However, football's governing body have now reneged on that deal and have ordered the pair not to participate in any football before the matter is resolved.
Thus far, PSG have paid just ‚é¼500,000 for Rodriguez and nothing for Bueno - with Penarol determined to receive adequate compensation.
