Freddie boost for Sweden

Freddie Ljungberg should feature for Sweden this weekend.

Freddie Ljungberg has recovered from his calf injury and is ready to feature for Sweden this weekend.

The Arsenal star has been battling back from a calf injury, and his return is a huge boost to Sweden as they take on Bulgaria in a crucial World Cup qualifier.

"As it looks now, I will be able to play," Ljungberg told Expressen.

"I believe that I can cope with a full 90 minutes."

Sweden's team doctor, Anders Valentin, revealed that the 28-year-old had made great strides in a week.

"It looks good, even better than on Wednesday," said Valentin.

"He can stand a lot of pain."
