Argentina coach Jose Pekerman has indicated that Lionel Messi has a good chance of inclusion in his World Cup squad.The Barcelona star has made himself one of the hottest talents on the planet, and has already become a firm fan favourite at his Catalan club.
Pekerman is aware that Messi's talents cannot be ignored, and has opened the door to the player for next summer's World Cup in Germany.
"Messi is a great promise of Argentinian football," said Pekerman, who urged caution in the treatment of the youngster.
"We have to be very careful with him and he has to understand that things will be done step by step.
"But he is maturing every day and that can help him be a part of the squad of players who will play in the World Cup."
