Feyenoord have informed Edwin de Graaf that he is free to leave the club. The 25-year-old midfielder had looked to be staying at Feyenoord as talk of an exit for star Japanese schemer Shinji Ono (pictured) intensified.
However, Ono's departure never materialised, thus rendering de Graaf surplus to requirements - with a loan move now mooted.
De Graaf is not short of suitors, with Roda, Willem II, RKC Waalwijk, Sparta Rotterdam, RBC Roosendaal and ADO Den Haag credited with holding an interest.
The player has never managed to establish himself at De Kuip, making just six appearances since making his debut in January 2005.
Meanwhile, Feyenoord are to rest young striker Tim Vinken for the weekend clash with NEC, as the starlet's hamstring remains a concern.
''The healing needs some time and Sunday will be too early,'' said club doctor Robbart van Linschoten.
