Chievo snare Scurto

Chievo have concurred on a joint ownership deal with Roma for Giuseppe Scurto.

The young defender is on the fringe of the Roma first-team squad this season and has been allowed to link up with Chievo.

Roma coach Luciano Spalletti consented to the notion of a joint ownership agreement which will initially see Scurto spend this season with the Flying Donkeys.

Scurto made his debut for Roma last November against Milan and was in and out of the side.

He now has the chance to secure more regular action with Chievo, who started the new Serie A season with a 1-0 defeat at champions Juventus.
