Marko Topic has completed a deal with Krylia Sowjetow Samara.

Wolfsburg striker Marko Topic has completed a move to Russian club Krylia Sowjetow Samara.

He has signed a two-year deal with the Russian Premier Liga side on a free transfer after struggling to make the first team at Wolves so far this season.

So far, the 29-year-old has only made two substitute appearances in three games for the Bundesliga outfit and the arrivals of Mike Hanke and Steve Marlet caused Topic to struggle for a regular place.

The addition of 19-year-old Corinthians striker Abuda, who the club signed late on Wednesday, caused further unease for the player.

He joined Wolfsburg from Energie Cottbus in 2003, making 49 appearances and scoring 7 goals during his time at the club.
