Ariza looks on the bright side

Sevilla striker Ariza Makukula is looking on the positive side after suffering a new injury setback.Makukula is reeling after learning he requires at least seven months on the sidelines due to his persistent knee injury.
The forward initially tore cruciate ligaments in 2004, while with Real Valladolid, although it did not prevent his move to Sevilla.
However, Makukula did not make his debut for Sevilla until January this year and ended the season with eight appearances.
He then suffered a relapse during the summer, with Sevilla initially hopeful that rest would cure the problem.
Sevilla's optimism proved short-lived, with Makukula now due to undergo an operation in the hope of finally ending his injury troubles.
Makukula admits he is disappointed to be out of action again but is trying to draw inspiration from Real Madrid ace Ronaldo.
"I am unhappy because it is not possible to play this season but, at this moment, I have not died," said Makukula.
"I believe that I am not Ronaldo but the Brazilian went two years without playing and is now scoring goals.
"I promise the supporters that I want the help. I want to return with much force."
Sevilla could hand Makukula a boost by extending his contract by a further 12 months as his present deal is due to expire at the end of this season.
