Moratti backing Inter

Internazionale president Massimo Moratti is not worried about his side's loss to Palermo as he knows Roberto Mancini has assembled a quality squad. The Nerazzurri crashed to a surprise 3-2 loss to Palermo at the weekend, but responded on Tuesday with a 1-0 win over Slovakian outfit Artmedia Bratislava in the UEFA Champions League.
Inter lost Juan Sebastian Veron to a red card in Slovakia after he took a quick free kick and collected a second booking and Moratti feels the team slumped with a man disadvantage.
"The Palermo result doesn't worry me, because I think Mancini is a good coach and the assembled team have a lot of quality," explained Moratti.
"For the moment anyone's place is under scrutiny. Anyway things will change if there are any repeats of last weekend's result.
"This win showed we have found the right humility. The game wasn't the best, but at certain times you have to be content with what you have.
"We suffered after Veron's sending off. I liked [Luis] Figo but I especially liked the spirit showed by the whole team.
"I repeat I have faith in the coach and I have faith in the players."
