Marco Ballotta has joined former club Lazio on a free transfer, signing a one-year deal with the Italian side.
The 41-year-old will take on the role of third-choice goalkeeper behind Angelo Peruzzi and Matteo Sereni.
Ballotta left Lazio five years ago after a good spell with the Rome outfit and the player has fond memories of his time there.
"It's a really good sensation being here again," he told Lazio's official website.
"Many times my mind goes to when we won the Scudetto."
The verteran goalkeeper will bring experience to the squad and, depsite his age, Ballotta insists he has no intention of quitting the game yet.
"Physically I feel good, I'll only quit when I'm not enjoying myself anymore. I'll put myself at the coach's disposal and he can make the choices from there."
