Wicky blow for Hamburg

Hamburg's Raphael Wicky will be out of action for two weeks.

The 28-year-old tore his calf muscles in the club's final training session ahead of their Uefa Cup tie on Thursday.

Wicky is now out of Hamburg's European clash against Copenhagen on Thursday and will also miss this weekend's Bundesliga fixture against Eintracht Frankfurt.

An MRI scan revealed the extent of the injury and Wicky has been told to rest for two weeks by club doctors.

The news of Wicky's absence is a massive blow for HSV boss Thomas Doll who will be forced to shuffle his pack without the Swiss star.
