Feyenoord new-boy John Owoeri has been cleared to play at the weekend.
Feyenoord new-boy John Owoeri has been cleared to play against NEC Nijmegen on Sunday.The Nigerian youth star moved to the Dutch outfit from Bendel Insurance over the summer after impressing in the Netherlands hosted Fifa World Youth Championships.
After completing all the formalities of his move the striker is now free to take the stage in the fourth Eredivisie fixture of the term, as Feyenoord look to continue their 100 percent start to the season.
However, with the talented Dirk Kuyt ahead of him in the pecking order at De Kuip, Owoeri is fully aware that he may not be granted an easy ride into the first team.
"I know that we've got many good players and that I will not be so far in the beginning," said Owoeri.
"But I am patient, my time will come."
