Boston plot Fowler bid

Boston United are looking into a loan deal for Huddersfield midfielder Lee Fowler.

The 22-year-old has not played for The Terriers this season and is aware of his lowly position in Peter Jackson's plans.

Jackson appears happy to let Fowler leave the club, after allowing the player to train with Grimsby Town in pre-season.

Fowler failed to clinch a move to Blundell Park but could have a second opportunity to join a League Two side.

Boston boss Steve Evans is weighing up a loan offer for the ex-Coventry City youngster as he aims to bolster his squad.
