Milan upset with Poulsen

Milan are considering making a complaint to Uefa about Christian Poulsen.

Milan are considering making a complaint to Uefa about the conduct of Schalke midfielder Christian Poulsen.

The Denmark international's performance in the 2-2 UEFA Champions League draw between the sides on Wednesday has incurred the wrath of Milan.

Poulsen helped to mark Brazilian ace Kaka out of the game, while he also clashed with Gennaro Gattuso and Andrei Shevchenko.

Rossoneri coach Carlo Ancelotti was upset with Poulsen's attitude and the club are thinking about lodging an official complaint.

"The first condition is that the referee didn't see or punish what we will eventually talk about," said Milan's chief officer Adriano Galliani.

"I repeat - should Milan decide to present a video report on what happened Uefa will analyse it."

Ancelotti had accused Poulsen of being a coward for his actions but the Schalke man has refuted suggestions that he crossed the line.

Poulsen said: "There were some clashes but I feel I managed to stop him (Kaka).

"He is tremendously quick and much of their build-up goes through him. At times you have to take a free kick.

"I do feel that I am playing fair."
