Dons dealt Clark blow
Aberdeen ace Chris Clark faces a spell on the sidelines after breaking his toe.
Aberdeen ace Chris Clark faces a spell on the sidelines after breaking his toe.The 25-year-old sustained the injury during his side's goalless draw with Livingston last weekend.
The news is a blow for Dons boss Jimmy Calderwood as Clark has been a valuable member of his squad.
"The only plus point is a couple of weeks will be taken care of by the international break," said Calderwood.
"But Chris has been very versatile this season and he was doing very well.
"It is a nuisance because Chris fits in well no matter what system or formation we are playing."
Better news on the injury front for Aberdeen is the return to fitness of Darren Mackie.
Mackie has failed to feature this season because of an Achilles tendon problem, but he will have a run-out for the reserves on Tuesday.
