Bluebirds trial custodian

Cardiff City have handed a trial to former Rushden & Diamonds keeper Lee Worgan.

The Wales Under-21 international joins The Bluebirds after being released by The Diamonds at the end of last season.

The 21-year-old had attracted the interest of League Two side Darlington and Scottish Premier League club Falkirk in the summer before opting to try his luck with Dave Jones' side.

The former Milton Keynes Dons custodian, who had a loan spell at Wycombe Wanderers two seasons ago, will hope to impress the Ninian Park club during his trial spell.
