Bayern Munich's Sebastian Deisler is yet to receive a new contract offer
German international midfielder Sebastian Deisler is yet to receive a new contract offer from Bayern Munich.The 25-year-old's current contract at the Allianz Arena expires at the end of the season, but the German champions have yet to make a concrete move with a view to an extension.
"I don't know what will happen in the future, but I will be talking to Bayern first," Deisler said ahead of Saturday's international friendly in Istanbul.
Deisler has failed to hold down a regular first team berth in Bayern's midfield after three years blighted by illness and injury, but he says he is still determined to make the grade under Felix Magath.
"I'm still convinced that I have the ability to make it at Bayern," the former Borussia Monchengladbach and Hertha Berlin star added.
