Ono misses out for Japan

Shinji Ono has returned to Feyenoord after picking up an injury on international duty.

Ono sustained a foot problem in training with the Japanese squad last week.

The injury saw him miss last weekend's friendly with Latvia. and although he was hoping to play in this week's game with Ukraine. Japan coach Zico has decided not to take any risks with his fitness.

Ono has now returned to De Kuip to undergo treatment on the injury and Feyenoord will be hoping the injury is not too serious.
