Pulis's frustration continues

Tony Pulis has confirmed that he is interested in taking Chris Baird on loan.

Plymouth manager Tony Pulis has confirmed that he is interested in taking Southampton's Chris Baird on loan.

Pulis is currently on a desperate mission to bolster his depleted defensive unit before the weekend, but he revealed on Thursday that although Baird is on his shortlist he will not be arriving at Home Park just yet.

"It is not going to happen before Saturday, if at all," said Pulis.

"Southampton have a few players out which means they may need him there and we may find someone else in the meantime."
