Joaquin has once again dismissed reports linking him with a move from Real Betis.
Real Betis winger Joaquin has once again dismissed reports linking him with a move from the Seville-based club.The latest round of speculation arose after a statement from the player's father earlier in the week in which he claimed he felt it was in his son's best interests to move on this season.
The winger has been linked with Chelsea and Real Madrid for some time, but has moved to reassure Betis fans he has no intention of leaving.
On his father's comments, Joaquin stated: "He, as I have always said, is looking from a dad's point of view and wants the best for me.
"But I have always said I am very happy here.
"I hope that no Betis fan was upset by him and understood that it was, in his opinion, the best for his son.
"I am certain that the best thing for me is to continue in this club with whom I am achieving important things.
"My main objective is to stay with the club who have given me everything.
"I am not thinking about leaving Betis, not at Christmas and not next year."
