Sheffield United utility man Phil Jagielka has vowed to help The Blades claim promotion. The 23-year-old has been a pivotal member of Neil Warnock's squad this season, having scored a brace in the club's 4-0 win over Luton Town on Tuesday evening.
His performances have attracted the interest of Premiership clubs, with Bolton Wanderers and Wigan Athletic known admirers of the England Under-21 international.
Despite attracting Premiership interest, Jagielka insists the Championship leaders can fulfil his dream of top-flight football by winning promotion.
"There's nothing I'd like more than to be part of a United team that earns a place in history," said Jagielka.
"We now have our best squad in my six years here.
"You can see that not only in the team that starts, but also when you can bring on people like Vincent Pericard, Danny Webber and Alan Wright from the bench."
