Boskamp after Chadwick
Stoke City boss Johan Boskamp is keen to arrange a deal with West Ham United.
Stoke City boss Johan Boskamp is keen to arrange a deal with West Ham United over Luke Chadwick and John Halls.
Chadwick is currently on loan at The Potters and has made an impressive start despite suffering from a recurrent hernia problem.
Halls has also been in great form for Stoke this season and has attracted attention from The Hammers.
However, Boskamp is aware that the player is unwilling to sign a new contact and so is looking to arrange a deal that will suit both clubs.
"Maybe we will get Lukey in January but we'll have to wait and see. We want to keep him here, he is a good player who I like and I think he wants to stay," Boskamp told fans at a 'Meet the Manager' evening.
"The good thing about West Ham wanting John is that we have Lukey here, maybe we can do a deal with them. John doesn't want to sign and his agent called to say he will go away at the end of the season.
"I don't think he will go at Christmas when we could take a little bit of money because he and his agent can get more money if he goes for nothing at the end of the season."
