Bury have signed Sheffield Wednesday striker Danny Reet on a month's loan. The Hillsborough youngster will stay at Gigg Lane for the next four weeks after initially joining The Shakers on trial this week.
Reet has impressed in the reserves for The Owls this season and Bury boss Chris Casper liked what he saw in Reet after he appeared in Bury's second string.
"I saw what I was looking for from Danny after only ten minutes - he ran the channel, showed some good pace and scored a good goal with his weaker foot," Casper told the club's official website.
"He kept the ball well and showed everything you want to see from a centre forward and he will be with us on a month's loan."
Reet goes straight into the squad to face Scunthorpe United in the FA Cup first round on Saturday.
One player that has left The Shakers on loan is utility man Jake Sedgemore after joining up with Conference club Burton Albion for a month.
Sedgemore will be eligible to play for The Brewers in Saturday's FA Cup first round tie at Peterborough United.
