Locatelli blow for Siena

Siena have lost influential forward Tomas Locatelli to injury for the next month.

Locatelli picked up a muscle problem during last weekend's defeat at home to Chievo Verona and was forced off in the first half.

There was immediate concern that Locatelli had suffered a serious injury and he now requires around four weeks' recovery.

Tests have shown a slight tear and he will need complete rest for a few days before he starts a period of physiotherapy.

He will then be gradually introduced back into training, with Siena hoping he will be able to return before Christmas.

Since joining the club in the summer from Bologna, Locatelli has been a key player for the Tuscan side, scoring four goals in 10 Serie A appearances.
