Paris Saint Germain defender Mario Yepes would like to remain at Parc des Princes despite transfer interest from Italy.

Yepes has confirmed that Serie A giants Internazionale and Milan are keeping tabs on his progress, but the 29-year-old has refused to be swayed by the flattering overtures.

"It would be to easy to leave Paris to join a team that wins titles," Yepes told But!

"Last summer there was an interest from Internazionale. But when I left for my holidays I told myself I would be back to Paris to achieve a beautiful season.

"AC Milan are rumours that are circulating. But a club like Milan is following a lot of players."

The Colombian has been a consistent presence in the PSG backline since signing from Nantes last summer and is now considering finishing his career in the French capital.

"And why not terminate my career at Paris? I feel at ease here, I am happy," he added.
