Laws won't sell youngsters
Brian Laws has warned clubs away from trying to sign either of his young strikers.
Scunthorpe United manager Brian Laws has given a hands-off warning to clubs looking to sign either of his two young strikers.
Both Billy Sharp and Andy Keogh have been in sparkling form this season, netting 18 League One goals between them, and attracting many admirers along the way.
They find themselves in the shop window again when they face Blackpool on Sunday.
However, Laws is adamant that his 19-year-old duo will not be leaving.
"I know I can't stop speculation or stop people from talking, but these two lads are going nowhere.
"The media always put the spotlight on strikers who are doing well. Its inevitable that clubs will look at young players who are doing well but my message to them is this - look, but don't touch.
"At the moment we are not interested in selling. We want to be successful and you don't achieve that by selling your best young players.
"If eventually they do move on it will only be for a lot of money," Laws told the Scunthorpe Telegraph.
