Patrick Kluivert's agent has rejected reports linking the player with a move back to Ajax.Reports emanating from Holland have suggested that Ajax are keen to lure Kluivert back to the Amsterdam ArenA from Valencia.
The 29-year-old began his career at Ajax and scored the winning goal for the Dutch side in the 1995 UEFA Champions League final.
The former Barcelona and Newcastle United hit-man has endured a frustrating start to his Valencia career due to injury.
Kluivert has made only five appearances for Los Che and has still to score for them.
Kluivert's representative Paul Foortse has rubbished the reports linking the striker with Ajax and insists any move is highly unlikely.
"Absurd, Patrick has just started for Valencia," Foorste said of the reports.
"I can't imagine that they (Valencia) would like to co-operate on a transfer."
Kluivert admitted he was flattered by Ajax's interest after the Dutch club's assistant manager Gerard van der Lem contacted him.
"I have a special contact with Gerard," Kluivert told De Telegraaf.
"I was surprised he called, but especially flattered."
Ajax have also been linked with Heerenveen ace Klass Jan Huntelaar as they look for another striker.
Huntelaar is expected to leave Heerenveen after attracting the interest of a host of top clubs with his goalscoring exploits.
Ajax could face a fight for Huntelaar with AZ Alkmaar also believed to be lining up a move for the forward.
