Figo warns Gers

Internazionale ace Luis Figo has warned Rangers they will be looking for victory.

Internazionale ace Luis Figo has warned Rangers that they will no take it easy in their UEFA Champions League clash.

The Italians are likely to field a weakened side at Ibrox with qualification already secured and also the Milan derby in mind ahead this weekend.

Figo is one of the stars who has been rested for the trip to Scotland, but the Portugal international insists Inter's reserves are strong enough to beat Rangers.

"I still believe we will begin the game with a strong side full of senior players but the coach may give some time on the pitch to other players too," said Figo.

"If our great stars don't play a full 90 minutes that doesn't mean it will be easy for Rangers.

"Inter Milan have a huge, powerful squad and we have more than enough quality to win in Glasgow without a full-strength team.

"This is the Champions League after all and with so many people watching us from all around the world we will definitely give it all we've got.

"We may have qualified comfortably for the next stage but this hasn't been an easy group. In this competition every opponent is difficult.

"Artmedia and Porto have nothing to worry about. I can assure them we'll approach the game just as we have done all the other Champions League matches.

"There is only one point between Artmedia and Rangers in the group so we owe it to everyone to give 120 percent. It is fair and right that we try our best to win.

"The fact we're not under pressure to win may even help us play better and give us a better chance of victory."
