Tamas Peto has expressed delight at being brought in from the cold at NAC Breda.

The Hungarian midfielder was handed a three-month ban by the club for a critical interview, but he has been brought back into the fold by coach Ton Lokhoff.

Peto is happy to be back and determined to take his second chance.

"I thought I wouldn't get another chance at NAC," he told BN/De Stem. "I have had a tough time, but I am a professional and I want to come back and play."

Peto is hopeful Lokhoff will accept the olive branch.

"I hope that he can forget what has happened, I am certainly going to try my best," added Peto.

"I am fit and ready to do all I can and I am happy."

Lokhoff claims he has been impressed with Peto's attitude in recent weeks.

"There comes a time when you have to close the book and move on," said Lokhoff. "He has played well for the reserves and it is time for him to show it again.

"Tamas is a member of the squad again, no more no less."
